Opening times: It is opened two hours before high tide and 1 hour after high tide

Description

The current lock gates have been in operation since 1998 after the Amiral Rolland passage was widened from 24 to 28 m to accommodate increasingly large commercial vessels.

Description

This bridge provides a link for pedestrians and cyclists between the neighbourhoods to the north of the river Arques and Dieppe town centre, over the commercial dock.

Bassin Duquesne lock
Opening times: 1 hour 45 minutes before high tide and 1 hour 15 minutes after high tide. These times vary significantly according to sea conditions

Description

This lock was put into operation in 1970 and renovated in 2007. It gives fishing boats and leisure craft access to Bassin Duquesne.

Le pont Ango
Opening times: Pont Ango is lifted 1 hour 45 minutes before high tide and 1 hour 15 minutes after high tide, and on request.

Description

Pont Ango, constructed in 1881, was initially a swing bridge. It was transformed into a lift bridge when it was rebuilt in 1950. It lifts to allow fishing boats to transit between Bassin Ango and Bassin Duquesne. Fishing is a key activity in Dieppe.

Description

Commissioned in 1889 and rebuilt in 1946, Pont Colbert is listed as a “Historic Monument”. This swing bridge allows ships to enter and leave the commercial dock and provides an essential road link between Dieppe and Neuville with over 12,000 vehicles crossing it daily. It is manoeuvred 1,400 times per year for 2,300 ship movements. This restoration work will start in 2024.
